We already knew that Chevrolet will unveil the sixth-generation Camaro in 2016 and that it will feature a series of significant improvements. First of all, the car will move from the current Zeta platform to General Motor’s new Alpha platform. This platform change will make the next Camaro lighter, smaller, more aerodynamic efficient and, ultimately, even more fun to drive. Under the hood things will also undergo significant changes, as sources are pointing toward a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder make its Camaro debut in the sixth-generation. Don’t start revolting just yet, as we’re sure this 4-banger will have loads of pop and rest assured that a 300-plus-horsepower V-6 and a next-gen V-8 will also be available. Unfortunately, there is no info on the V-6 and V-8 engines yet, so we’ll have to hold out for that. The next Camaro is still a few years away, so in the next few months we expect to get more details on it. Stay tuned! .
8 comments: Next-Generation Chevrolet Camaro Will Go Turbo I think that even my grandfather would not buy a car free of technology. today everyone wants more and more impressive technology
Camaro sells the best, ut Challenger looks the best and about Mustang, it performs the best. my point
A turbocharger on a camaro sounds kinda weird. Why not supercharge it? A supercharger would better match the camaro.
