Next generation Tiburon Coupe was caught under testing. Hyundai’s coupe will arrive next year as a 2009 model. Some of the lines of the HCD8 Sports Tourer concept, which debuted at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show, will be present on the new sports car but with the proportions of the current model.
The new model will use an all-new platform, like all the BH variants, will be available with RWD configuration.Tiburon will be available with Hyundai’s new Tau V8 that’s capable of producing well over 300 horsepower.
Hyundai will actually move the Tib upmarket, to go up against luxury sport coupes like the Infiniti G37 and BMW 335i coupe.
