When you are rich and famous, making a donation of $100.000 is not such a big deal for your pocket. The Oscar-winning actor Nicholas Cage donated his personal 2005 Ford GT 40, valued at more than $140,000, Wednesday to Universal Technical Institute Inc. students to use for training.

His GT was a limited-edition vehicle (4500 ever built) which commemorates the look and feel of the original GT 40 painted in a blue-streaked.

Making a tour to UTI's Avondale campus in August he was impressed with the school's programs so he decided that his Ford will help the students in there: "UTI's training facility, technology and manufacturer-specific programs are really impressive," Cage said. "They're well structured to prepare students for a successful career as automotive technicians. I wish I had had an opportunity like this when I was younger."
