Here are the latest spy shots of the future Nissan GT-R Spec-V that will be revealed sometime in 2009. It will have a a price tag of about $130,000. The GT-R Spec V will be powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo that now delivers 520 bhp at 6500 rpm and 440 lb.-ft. of torque peaking from 3200–5200 rpm.
This is an improvement of 40 horsepower and 10 lb.-ft. of torque (although independent dyno tests have shown that Nissan may have underrated the regular GT-R’s power.) The Spec V will be slimmer by about 200 lb., tipping the scales at 3615 lb.
No, most independant dynotests have shown that the GT-R produces 415 to 478hp.Even Edmunds IL got 453hp. The only ones to achieve a higher output are the retards at C&D and that alone voids their claims.
