Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., announced it will begin taking pre-orders for the Micra C+C (Coupe + Convertible) from May 11, 2007. The new model will be introduced in Japan in mid-July.

Micra C+C, the coupe/convertible model of the Micra, initially launched in Europe in November 2005, continues to be a popular and distinctive model in the range. Micra C+C’s roomy interior is one of its most appealing features. Its warm and high quality interior trim has been carried over from the base Micra model. The efficient and smooth HR16DE engine offers a sporty and spirited driving experience, while the specially-tuned suspension provides for a comfortable ride. MSRP (Manufacturer suggested retail pricing) is 2,499,000 yen for both the 5MT and E-ATX versions.

Micra C+C will be built in Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the U.K. for export to Japan. Specifications of the Micra C+C will be modified to meet with the Japanese market requirements. The 2007 Year Model will be on sale this year under a limited production of 1500 units.
