No Audi A3 Convertible for USA

Is not a secret anymore that Audi is planing an A3 Convertible, placed between the A4 and the upcoming A5 Convertible. But the bad news is that USA won’t see it on the market.

Audi AG boss Rupert Stadler confirmed that the A3 Convertible will be built alongside the TT at the company’s Hungary plant. But, in the same time a source from Audi USA has confirmed that the soft top will not come to the USA.

The explanation is: the car shares too much with the three-door A3, and that the 3-door was never developed for US sale.
