The Pagani Zonda->ke942 has been the subject of many special editions and on-off vehicles. It’s not really a surprise, considering the nature of the supercar as one of the finest exotics on the planet.

For all the hoopla these one-off Zondas generated when they were released, something was still bound to fall through the cracks, particularly one of these aforementioned one-offs heading to the auction block.

World renowned English auctioneers, Bonham, will host this event to auction off a Pagani Zonda C12S/F where it is expected to carry a price tag of anywhere between $800,000 and $950,000. This Zonda is a second-hand model whose owner, a man who carries the initials GJ, decided to part ways with the supercar after an eventful history with it.

Apparently, the Zonda was originally built as a base C12 Coupe, but after what we can imagine to be excessive enjoyment, the owner sent the Zonda back to Pagani->ke66 to get some repairs done, including the installation of the automaker’s more powerful "F" performance package.

With all the repairs and improvements done, this Zonda ended up carrying AMG’s 7.3-liter V12 engine that produced around 550 horsepower. Not a bad number for a Zonda that’s pretty much more than a decade old. The expected price is another matter entirely, as paying close to a million for a decade old supercar isn’t exactly the kind of astute purchase we had in mind.

Nevertheless, we expect somebody to make a bid for this supercar if only for the fact that you don’t see a whole lot of these models running around the streets anymore. The Bonham auction has been set for January 3, 2013 at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, England.
