Now here's a treat you don't get to see everyday

Sure, not everybody was invited to this event, but it was by no means less enjoyable.

Recently, Bugatti->ke16 held an exclusive track day event at the Paul Ricard Circuit where it invited its "dearest friends" to get an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vittese.

That's pretty awesome if only for that small detail about the whole event being limited to an exclusive few, or in this case, people who probably owned Veyrons->ke1112 of their own.

But for those guys who went to the event, congratulations to all of you. Not everybody gets a chance to drive one of the fastest cars in the world, even if it's being done under the observation of Bugatti test driver Pierre-Henri Raphanel.

Oh, Bugatti->ke16 also brought along a slew of Veyron Grand Sports, making the event that much more fantastic. At least for those who attended the event.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

Considered as one of the fastest cars on the planet, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is an absolutely nutty supercar that smirks at everyone who dares cross its path.

And why wouldn't it, considering the kind of powertrain this machine carries.

Just a reminder: the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is powered by a quad-turbocharged W-16 engine that produces a staggering 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, good enough to allow the Grand Sport Vitesse to blast off from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 255 mph.
