Porsche will produce a limited-edition Boxster and Boxster S coated in a bright orange paint previously only available on the 415-horsepower Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The limited-edition model will be build on the standard Boxster platform and will be limited to only 500 units (250 Boxster and 250 Boxster S).
The roadsters will feature standard features typically sold as options on the Boxster models, including black wheels with silver rims, Porsche’s SportDesign body-kit package and an Alcantara-trimmed interior. The limited-edition Boxster comes with a SportDesign package that includes spoiler lips, an automatically extending redesigned rear spoiler and modified rear trim with an integrated diffuser that improves aerodynamics by reducing lift on both the front and rear axles.
The color scheme carries over to the cabin with seats, carpet, dash, door panels and other soft surfaces in black and orange. Adding to the performance theme is the Alcantara trim, a suede-like material used on performance models including the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS.
