Renault Megane RS renderings

After Renault revealed the three-doors Megane at the Paris Auto Show, they are now busy developing a flagship Renaultsport version to replace the outgoing R26 and to compete with the Golf GTI and Focus ST .

Under the hood Renault will place the current R26’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, producing at least 230bhp. It will also be lighter than the current R26 meaning better performances: a 150mph top speed and a 0-60mph time of less than six seconds, plus better economy and emissions.
