Rolls Royce Wraith: First Official Image and New Spy Shots

Rolls Royce Wraith

Rolls Royce initially used the "Wraith" nomenclature back in 1938 when the original car was launched on the market, and then again from 1946 to 1959 when the Silver Wraith was unveiled. Now the company is preparing to use this name one more time, but this time for a coupe version of the Ghost - initially rumored to be called Corniche .

The car was caught once again during cold weather testing near the Arctic Circle and almost simultaneously, Rolls Royce unveiled the first official teaser image revealing a little bit of the car’s silhouette. As the company announced, the Wraith’s flowing lines are a hint "at the extraordinary power and dynamic promise of the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history."

The new Wraith is rumored to be powered by a turbocharged V-12 delivering as much as 600 horsepower. All this power will be sent to the rear wheels via a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. No specifications are known at this point, but the new Wraith will be the fastest production Rolls Royce to wear the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament.

The 2014 Rolls Royce Wraith will make its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The Rolls Royce Wraith looks intriguing and mysterious with its picture with a spotlight. It is nice to see more of the car even though the car is having a camouflage, which is covering some of its features.
