The future sounds very promising for Rolls-Royce->ke74, as rumor has it that there will be at least two more stunning models added to its lineup in the near future. First will be a 16-cylinder roadster and the second model a new SUV developed to target the upcoming Bentley SUV.

Rolls-Royce will be the second maker, after Bugatti, that will place a 16-cylinder engine is a supercar, but do not expect the new Rolls-Royce roadster to deliver the same performance numbers as the Veyron. It will deliver about 700 horsepower, but when it comes to performance figures, Rolls-Royce will be more interested in refinement, luxury and craftsmanship, and not in obtaining monstrous top speeds.

First details suggest the upcoming roadster will be offered with a "long nose, stubby tail and a raked windscreen." It will offer interior space for just two passengers and will feature a soft-top roof. Most likely, the model will be built on the same aluminum spaceframe chassis as the next Phantom->ke1283.

Expect the new Rolls-Royce Roadster to arrive in 2017
