Saab 9-1 renderings

General Motors will unveil at the Geneva Motor Show an "entirely new concept car", called 9-1X. The concept will be a preview version of the upcoming Saab 9-1. The future Saab will be a Mini Cooper competitor designed with a conventional, vertical B-pillar. The 9-1 will be a three-door or a five-door hatchback.

The Saab 9-1X is expected to incorporate styling cues from the Saab Aero X concept.

According to Motor Trend, the model needs to be priced between $20,000 and $25,000 to turn a profit.
