Scirocco R20T spied in black

At the moment, the most powerful version of Volkswagen’s Scirocco is only making 200 HP. That is because by the end of 2009 VW will have prepared an even hotter version of the lovable modern day sky rocket, and this one will be the fastest Scirocco of all times.

Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Volkswagen Scirocco R20T will be powered by a 2.0 Liter turbocharged engine cranking out an impressive 270 HP. The engine will be mated to the pride of Volkswagen, the DSG gearbox, and of course, like any other German model the top speed will be limited to 155 MPH.
