It was a very fruitful week in Las Vegas at the SEMA show and although there were numerous vehicles shown, only a few really stood out. After a few days of deliberation, each one of us at TopSpeed picked our favorite special edition, as we all had issues agreeing on what was best.

The SEMA show is one of the most popular automotive events in the world. It can attract more than 100,000 visitors from over 100 countries in the automotive, truck and SUV, and RV markets. The displays are segmented into 12 sections and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 2,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components.

While we love tools and what not, we go for the cars. These tuned beauties remind us of The Fast and the Furious, although some of the cars shown are neither fast nor furious. We've already had one winner, as the Chevrolet Camaro was named the Hottest Car, but do we agree?

Hit the jump to keep reading.

Chevrolet Camaro Red Flash

Our first winner was a bit obvious, as it looked brilliant in just about every single angle. It's the Chevrolet Camaro Red Flash. This special model features a Red Jewel exterior paint accented with gray heritage stripes and gray-accented 21-inch wheels.

The glorious package also includes body-color ground effects, high-wing rear spoiler with black-painted stanchions and other gray accents, and an Ebony leather-trimmed cabin with titanium stitching and red accents on the seats.

Don’t think that this Camaro is all show and no go. Under the hood it packs a LS3 6.2L V-8 engine connected to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. Other modifications include new air intake and exhaust systems.

Hyundai Sonata 2.0T By Rides

On the more practical side of things we have the Hyundai Sonata 2.0T by Rides Magazine. We’ve been lucky enough to take the new Sonata Turbo for a ride and we have to say that it’s probably the best driving family sedan on the market, but when it’s given this sort of treatment one can argue it’s the best looking as well.

The exterior sees new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a roof spoiler hidden behind the matte pearl paint job from BASF. Rides has also added a matte black debadged front grille, smoked taillights and painted headlights, and 20-inch Rennen Modular M9 concave wheels in a powder coated matte black and wrapped in Falken FK452 tires.

Inside the Hyundai, Rides has given us a combination of black leather and suede with red stitching, along with integrating carbon fiber trim throughout. The trunk gets two JBL 12-inch subwoofers paired with two JBL amplifiers.

Chevrolet Camaro SSX Track Car

Our third favorite is, once again, a Camaro. From the moment we saw it we fell in love with the track look of the SSX Camaro. It has been built, obviously for the track, giving this vehicle a whole new attitude. The suspension has been modified and some of the parts have been replaced with carbon fiber, such as lightweight carbon fiber body panels. There is also an adjustable rear wing, a revised lower grille, and unique brake cooling ducts.

Under the hood there is a 6.2-liter V-8 enhanced with Chevrolet Performance Parts’ camshaft, cylinder heads, and dry-sump oiling system.

Speed isn’t the only thing this Camaro does well, as it has a glorious looking exterior. The car is painted in a low-gloss Icy White Metallic paint and sits on 20-inch racing wheels. There are a few graphics and racing numbers to give the car that race ready look.

Chevrolet Camaro T-Top By Drop Top Customs

Going a tad old school, we have our fourth pick, the Drop Top Custom's T-Top Chevrolet Camaro. Let’s face it, if you’re a fan of the Camaro franchise and you’ve lived long enough to have Matchbox toys of the old Camaros, then you always wanted to have the T-Top. There’s something inherently cool about this roof styling that immediately grabs attention. It’s not ostentatious to the point that it steals attention from the car itself, but it’s cool enough to get you style points from everybody who sees it.

What made it even better was how the T-Top perfectly complemented the aggressive styling of the fifth-generation Camaro, giving it a mean, old school element to it while retaining the car's sleek and aggressive look. Add in some fiery red exterior paint, a set of 20-inch rims, and a supercharger to boot and you have for yourself a car that’s got ‘Delicious’ written all over it.

One of our authors referred to the T-Top Camaro as being like crème brulee. It’s not going to wow you with its grandiosity at the dessert buffet line compared to the other mouth-watering treats, but it’s unmistakable look, especially the caramelized sugar on top, and scrumptious taste is reason enough for you to grab as many as you can before going back to your table.

Mazda MX-5 Miata Super20

Finally, we have our fifth and final pick, the Mazda MX-5 Super20. The overall look is a purposeful combination of street-tough style and motorsports-inspired attributes. A hardtop has replaced the soft-top and the interior has been stripped down and fitted with a roll-bar, giving you the impression of being in a racecar. We love the exterior look, as that sleek gray paint scheme and orange accents give the car a race-ready look.

Power comes from a supercharged Cosworth motor, but this Mazda isn’t about speed, it’s about corning. To help the Mazda Super20 go around corners, it has been given numerous upgrades, including MAZDASPEED coil overs, Racing Beat hollow front and rear anti-roll bars, MAZDASPEED shock tower brace, Power Slot slotted brake rotors, StopTech DOT-compliant stainless steel brake lines and street performance brake pads, SpeedSource front brake ducts, 16x9 Enkei RPF1 wheels wrapped with 245/45-R16 Toyo Proxes RA-1 R-compound tires, and 20mm H&R Trak+ hubcentric bolt-on wheel spacers in the rear and 15mm Sparco hubcentric wheel spacers up front.
