It seems that for Genereal Motors a perfect car is never perfect. After launching the company has engaged the two models in a program of continuous improvement which has already seen a reinforcing brace added between the transmission and differential, a more suitable third gear ratio and more effective sealing of the roof against wind noise.
Now the company has gone further, installing a power door lock button in the cockpit and a power seat height adjuster. "What early customer feedback we get, we identify potential improvements and make those improvements," said Matt Armstrong, Saturn marketing manager. "We don’t wait for the end of the model year."
