We don't know about you, but we are tired of waiting for the 2014 BMW M3 to arrive... From the looks of things, BMW->ke178 decided to make us wait just a bit longer, as it took the hot sedan out for another testing session.

Fortunately for us, our savvy spy photographer caught the prototype->ke146 testing around the Nϋrburgring->ke999 racetrack, and it looks like it started to drop some of its camouflage. To no surprise, the next M3->ke2366 will share its front fascia design with the upcoming M4 Coupe, and the spy shots reveal it will offer a double-bubble carbon fiber roof.

Under the hood, the new M3 will drop the current V-8 engine in favor of a new twin- or triple-turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six-banger with power in the 415-horsepower range. The rumored power output is a little bit disappointing, considering rumors that once suggested output closer to 450 ponies.

The next generation BMW M3 will be pretty much an evolution of the current generation M3 but extended by a little over 3 inches. This means you should expect to see a more aggressive 3 Series combined with some design elements from the 4 Series.

Just like with any other M model, the next M3 will be distinguished by a larger air dam and lower bumper; a black kidney grille with an "M" logo on it; more pronounced front wheel arches; and larger air intakes.

For the rear, you should expect a more pronounced rear apron and the usual M quad tailpipes.
