Its been a while since our spy photographers last caught the next generation Mini Cooper out for some testing session. But it looks like all the waiting will be worth it in the end. Today, the next Cooper->ke629 was spotted testing again, and as you can see from the spy shots its starting to lose some of its camouflage and showing even more of its skin, including the front bumper, the redesigned headlights, and the new taillight graphics.

The new Mini Cooper will be built on BMW->ke57's new UKL platform and, for the first time, will be offered with a choice of three-cylinder engines, next to the conventional four-cylinder lineup.

Rumors suggest that the new generation Cooper will be offered in ten different body versions, with the base version to be revealed in September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The new generation Mini Cooper will feature a new design language; still, it will be very easy to distinguish it as a Mini model. It will get a new set of redesigned headlights with integrated turn signals. Also, as revealed by the latest spy shots, it looks like the front bumper was also redesigned.

On the back end, you’ll notice that the taillights have grown slightly and they've even received a new graphic design. The rear bumper will also be redesigned.
