Just before we rang in the new year, our spy photographers caught the updated version of the current-generation Ford Focus testing in the cold. Now, it looks like new year began with yet another testing session for the model, but this time the testing took place in hot weather.

Besides the temperature difference and lack of snow, what's different this time is that our spy photographers managed to catch both the hatchback->ke304 and the station wagon->ke143 versions, and that both don the real taillights. Everything else remains identical to the previous prototype we caught, including the selective camouflaging.

Rumors suggest that the revised Focus->ke440 will get a fully revised front end, an updated rear end, a bigger screen for the infotainment and satellite navigation system, and a revised button layout. Ford->ke31 will likely add a new lineup of colors and materials, and some new wheels design.

Under its hood, we expect a revised engine lineup that will deliver more power and improved fuel economy.

Spy Shots

Updates offered for the revised Focus should include some changes for both the front and the rear. Judging by the camo , we expect to see a completely revised front end that includes a new set of headlights, new bumper and a new grille. The spy shots also reveal that the hood and the front fenders will also be updated.

For the rear the company will also add a new bumper and taillights.
