Porsche->ke1 engineers have had a pretty busy 2014 so far, as our spy shooters caught the revised version of the Cayenne testing in the cold. The prototype wears only a bit of camouflage on the areas that Porsche is updating.

Up front, we expect to see some changes on the front bumper and the headlights, while the backside will get taillights that feature a slimmer look and 3D styling, like on the recently revealed Porsche Macan->ke2674, and a revised rear bumper. The new Cayenne will also feature a selection of revised wheels and a slightly updated cabin.

Porsche may offer some updates for the engine, and a plug-in hybrid version could also be in the works for the Cayenne->ke212.

Considering Porsche has been testing the Cayenne for quite some time, we expect to see it in the dealerships sometime in late 2014 as a 2015 model.

The fact that Porsche is already working on a revised Cayenne shouldn't come as a surprise, especially if you consider that BMW recently released a new X5 and Mercedes is also working on a revision for the ML-Class.

The revised Cayenne will get some design elements already revealed by the new Panamera and Macan. These new elements include a revised front bumper, new headlights, new taillights with a 3D look and a revised bumper. Additionally, the side indicators are moving to the side mirrors.
