We've known about the existence of a Nismo version for the sporty Nissan GT-R->ke1592 for quite some time now, but we never had the luck of seeing it out there testing. Today, however, our spy photographers managed to catch the car cruising the famous Nürburgring->ke999 Nordschleife racetrack, where Nissan ->ke62 engineers were pushing it to the extreme.

Rumors suggest that the Nismo version of the GT-R will be powered by a heavily updated version of the V-6 twin-turbo engine with an output increased close to 600 horsepower. This amazing output will allow the sports coupe->ke141 to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in an unbelievable 2 seconds, embarrassing even high-performance supercars->ke177, like the Bugatti Veyron->ke1112. The GT-R Nismo's top speed is rumored to be close to 190 mph.

The new GT-R Nismo is rumored to be unveiled in November at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show->ke1834. Sales are expect to begin in early 2014.

The upcoming Nismo GT-R will be distinguished by an even more aggressive look, thanks to a specially design aerodynamic package. There will be a new front bumper with more openings to let the engine breathe better, while the rear bumper will also get some outlets.

When viewed from the side, you will notice deeper side sills and a huge rear wing that completes the aesthetic package. The model will also get a new exhaust system with new designed pipes.
