When it comes to idiotically mismatched races, you can’t get any more one-sided than the race that you’re about to see in this promo video. The Renault Clio is a pretty nice compact car and all, but, to be honest, it’s not really the type of car you’d want to be driving if you’re thinking of racing with other cars. The thought of a Clio going up against a Ferrari or a Lamborghini already has ‘massacre’ written all over it. Continued after the jump. Apparently, the folks at Renault are undaunted, to say the least. Not only did they bring out a Clio for a good old fashion race, but they somehow decided that it should pick a fight with a more “capable” opponent – a fighter jet, to be exact. If in some way you’re thinking that a Clio has a chance against a jet, then we have nothing to say to you. But if you’ve got a pretty good sense of humor and realize that this is just one of those hilarious marketing schemes by Renault, then we invite you to watch the video. And in fairness to the Clio, it was looking good after the first couple of meters before the jet just took off, literally. 3 comments: Start Your Engines: Renault Clio takes on Fighter Jet that was a crazy drag race... it would be a fair match if the clio is fitted with F16 or F/A-18 Hornet Engine.
 LMAO.. what the hell are they thinking? clio just eat the jet’s dust good thing that it didn’t get through the afterburner.
