We will continue our list of ultra-expensive Christmas gifts with a special vehicle: a street legal Saleen Competition S7 supercar available for sale for an impressive $499,000. When unveiled in 2000, the Saleen S7 was powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine with 550 HP. With the introduction of the Competition package, Saleen added a few updates, including 100 HP engine upgrades, a big Le Mans style race wing, winglets up front, and red/black 4pt harness seats. With the new updates, the car was capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and hitting a top speed of more than 200 mph. This was just a step closer to the impressive Twin-Turbo version that was capable of a top speed of 248 mph. The S7 on sale is the number 27 model, which was the first one offered with the competition package, and the first one that featured the red exterior paint. However crazy the $499,000 price tag may sound, at least it’s less expensive than the $1.17 million dollar sticker on the Zenvo ST1 supercar. Which one would you like to see in your garage on Christmas morning? .

Oh no! So that price is in sale already, then how much it will cost when not in bargain However, the sprint of the car quite amazing but the power is less powerful I think..
Aesthetically, I really don’t like the design of this car. I think its already overdecorated and bloat loaded. BTW, please leave the color red on Ferrari car.
Yes you are right ettore_lombardi! That gullwing looks hideous. I think only Mercedes could make that wing look better on car! Honestly, I will not be considering this car since there are a lot of other option in the market.
The car doesn’t look so much aggressive. I think the that’s the worst design for the gullwing that i have ever seen. I suggest they made it longer. However, it has a great performance figures.
They also sell paper license plate inserts (like the ones from the dealership that come with a new car) that say Saleen on them. They cost $2.
Has anyone been to that Saleen store? They have a Mustang cut in half lengthwise, so you can walk through it and see the insides of the drivetrain, etc.
The Bugatti stormed to 248 mph, besting the Koenigsegg’s 241 mph, but since the measuring wasn’t done by the Guinness Book of World Records, it’s still being verified.
The CCR could break the record again when it goes for the record on a salt flat instead of the Nardo ring.
