The official debut of the Acura NSX is still years away, but until then, Acura is offering you the chance to drive the NSX concept in Gran Turismo 6. According to Acura, the new "real driving simulator" will offer sports car enthusiasts their first opportunity to get behind the wheel of the next Acura NSX. Of course, the experience won’t be identical to actually driving the NSX, but it’ll still be tons of fun.

"Whether in the virtual world of Gran Turismo today, or on real-world roads and racing circuits less than two years from now, the Acura NSX will be an incredibly innovative and thrilling ride that delivers something entirely new to the world of super sports cars," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of Auto Operations at American

Surprise! Today's Gran Turismo 6 Release Includes the Acura NSX Concept

The production version of the NSX was teased many times with various concept cars, but still the real deal is about two years away. According to Acura officials, the production version will carry over about 95 percent of the styling elements we saw on the concept versions, with the interior being even more exciting than what we saw on the concept.

The NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted, direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine mated to Acura’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. This latter is a three-motor, high-performance hybrid system that combines torque vectoring all-wheel drive with advanced hybrid efficiency through the use of three electric motors – one motor integrated with the V-6 engine and its all-new dual-clutch transmission (DCT) driving the rear wheels, and two high-output electric motors driving the front wheels.

There are no details on the final output just yet, but we expect it to be at least 400 horsepower.

The production NSX will go on sale in 2015.
