Acura NSX

The production version of the NSX was teased many times with various concept cars, but still the real deal is about two years away. According to Acura officials, the production version will carry over about 95 percent of the styling elements we saw on the concept versions, with the interior being even more exciting than what we saw on the concept.

The NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted, direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine mated to Acura's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. This latter is a three-motor, high-performance hybrid system that combines torque vectoring all-wheel drive with advanced hybrid efficiency through the use of three electric motors – one motor integrated with the V-6 engine and its all-new dual-clutch transmission (DCT) driving the rear wheels, and two high-output electric motors driving the front wheels.

There are no details on the final output just yet, but we expect it to be at least 400 horsepower.

The production NSX will go on sale in 2015.
