If you went back to the past couple of years and name two of the most popular cars Audi has come out with in recent time, then the two most common answers would have to be the Audi TT-RS and the Audi R8 V10. And while it’s not really fair to compare the two cars – really, it’s not? – the folks over at Autocar who seemingly never run out of comparing cars decided to give it a whirl, just for the heck of it. So it stands, it’s the Audi TT RS taking on the Audi R8 V10 in two separate testing situations: one on a twisty test road and the other on a straight piece of road. Surprisingly, the Audi TT RS did a whole lot better than we thought on the first test in spite of the glaring differences between the two car’s overall package. But when the second run began, then that’s when things went back to normal. The Audi TT RS is a fast car, but running it up against an Audi R8 V10 in an open road is far from what we’d call a competitive race. .

 I know this is an old post, and at this point this doesn’t really matter, but. I am so very glad that finally we get this car, it will cost about 15k over the TTS, but after it’s been on the market for a year or two I will be able to put my hands on a certified one, and smile everyday i get behind the wheel.
 The kit also comes with a set of three-piece wheels sized 20-by-9 inches in the front and 20-by-11 inches in the rear. Wheels and More wraps the alloys in Continental Sport Contact III rubber, 235/30 in the front and 295/25 in back.
 Autocar has pitted with Audi R8 V10 against Audi TT RS? Upon watching the video, I saw how the Autocar chase the Audi. Was the cheaper car is faster than the other one?
 I used to love the Audi TT and I still love it until now. Of course the R8 is an awesome car as well but when it comes to love at first sight, it lasts forever. Well, the TT can still kick some butt. I do have to wonder though, could it have been just with the drivers or is it really in the cars performance why the result of the race is such? I mean it looked like a really close race.
 Yes of course audi TT-Rs can tail the r8 because it’s quite lighter and handles well. Just like the GT-R Vs Focus RS challenge.
