In case you haven’t seen the trailers and ads that are scattered across TV, internet and movies screens nationwide, the "Need for Speed" movie is coming. The new car-packed film from DreamWorks Pictures is loaded full of some of the hottest metal to hit the silver screen in years. Names like Bugatti->ke16, McLaren->ke284 and Koeingsegg->ke43

are all present and accounted for, but there is another name in the movie you may not have heard of.

Meet the GTA Spano->ke3437. This slab of yellow awesomeness is made by a small Spanish company called Spania GTA.

With 925 horsepower and a top speed well over 200 mph, the GTA Spano has the performance to match its motorized co-stars in the upcoming film. Thanks to a limited run of less than 100 cars, this movie is likely the only chance most will have to see a Spano in motion.

I have my reservations regarding the quality of the Need for Speed movie but one thing is certain; DreamWorks has thrown some of the best nameplates into the mix for the true enthusiast.

GTA Spano

The GTA Spano is powered by an 8.3-liter V10 that is fed by pair a pair of turbochargers. The final result is 925 horsepower and 950 pounds of twist. All that power is enough to drag the ultra-light Spano to a top speed of 230 mph. The car itself is made of carbon fiber, titanium and Kevlar to keep weight down. Thanks to that low weight, acceleration is also brutal, as 0-to-60 blows by in less than 3 seconds.

The new Need for Speed movie, along with the GTA Spano, hits theater screens on March 14, 2014.
