The 7th and final round of the “Dotz King of Europe” drifting series was held at the Greek port of Heraklion and brought with it spectacular entertainment. All 30 drivers from all over Europe assembled to battle it out for supremacy around the moderate course, set to the back drop of multi-million Dollar Greek Cruise liners and container ships.

Bulgarian Drifter Todor Dunev had a good year, taking three out of a possible seven victories this season, with one second place finish. Despite being knocked out early in the final round, his consistency ensured his coronation.

The event attracted around 5,000 fans who were treated to crazy door-to-door battles in the quarter finals between local hero Apostolis Xrysanthakopoulos in his red Nissan->ke62 S13, and Adam Kerenyi in the 3.8 liter E36 BMW - the battle twice ended in a draw before Kerenyi finally lost out. The decision may have been controversial, but the Greek driver went on to show his talent in the subsequent pairs. In the semi-final he knocked out championship Tudor Dunev in his Nissan S13. He eventually defeated Papapasxos in the final to win the round.

The boys enjoyed Autographs from Dotz girl, Dani, and good times were had by all. The 2011 season kicks off pretty soon and should be bigger and better than ever!
