Two teaser trailers for the upcoming 17th season of the best car show ever just weren’t enough to satiate our impatience for the real thing. Lucky for us, Top Gear knows a thing or two about trailing a carrot and have released a series of preview images for their first episode that fill in more of the gaps left by the teaser videos.

In the first episode, Jeremy Clarkson celebrates the 50th birthday of the legendary Jaguar E-type by driving a modern, half a million pound interpretation of this classic sports car, followed by a typically low key birthday party involving live music, classic fighter planes, and a group of Royal Marines. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond is in South Africa to test a bigger, even more rugged alternative to the famous Hummer whilst James May meets up with gold medal winning British Olympian, Amy Williams, for a wintry test of the latest Mini rally car. Plus, the power crazed BMW 1-series M slithers around the test track in a cloud of tire smoke and Alice Cooper takes his place in the Reasonably Priced Car. Oh yeah, Alice Cooper.

The 17th Season of Top Gear airs this Sunday, June 26th, at 8pm on BBC Two and BBC HD. If you missed the first two teaser videos, check them out here - trailer one - and here - trailer two.

haha. The reaction of Hammond while driving the huge truck, he seems to be like child there! However, so far the excitement of the show never fades and I bet its viewer have beaten the other car show.

I’m really glad to see them back! And expected this is just the previewed of the fun and exciting all new season of the Top Gear UK. I think they are now in the third season. The charisma of this trio never fades though we missed them for one season.

The images really fills the hungry viewers of Top Gear just like me. I wonder what will happen if they release a review on that tank? Can it race?

Yeah, that one was really quite funny, I never though that Clarkson would really be very excited with the M Coupe, considering that he was one of the harder to please when it comes to cars.

I would say that the first episode was really quite hilarious. Really liked the part when Clarkson actually went gaga over the M Coupe, and also the one where Hammond drove that huge truck.

Was able to watch this one last night, and as expected, they really packed in a lot in the first episode. I really like the part where they were able to drive the Marauder.

Finally, the show is airing tonight. I would definitely not miss the premiere, since they actually have some very interesting stuff lined up for that one today.

It looks like they are really prepping up for the next season, with all these teaser releases. Good thing that the new one is actually does have a lot prepared for the audience.

There are a lot of cars that was presented during the debut of the Season 17. I feel great that they were back! I can sense that the premiere episode is just the beginning of full fun and excitement for the whole season! BTW, I wonder on how many viewers watched its debut?

I have seen all the photos at the gallery. Wow! That was so amazing. The heavy artillery and the silent moment of Jeremy Clarkson with the Jaguar E-type in the field would be the best shots for me!
