Top Gear USA set to return on July 24

We certainly enjoyed the new exploits of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James "Captain Slow" May on the first episode of Top Gear’s 17th season, so you can bet that our expectations for the second season of Top Gear USA are set really high. And now we know that we can ride the momentum set by Top Gear into next month when the season debut of Top Gear USA airs on July 24, 2011.

We’re not expecting the moon because the first season of the show had its fair share of ups and downs, but if the triumvirate of Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust, and Rutledge Wood are funnier and a little less annoying, then it’s poised to make for a successful season. Plus, if producers can come up with more death-defying acts, such as Tanner Foust’s near-death experience, then we’re sure we will be pleased.

For now, details on the contents of the pilot episode of the second season are still behind the curtains at this point, but at the very least, we can already circle the date on our calendars for July 24th on the History Channel.

The Top Gear UK just aired weeks ago! The first episode is quite stunning and it seems that they have made it more interesting and fun to watch!

I wonder what will happened to the Top Gear USA, now that the original show is back. Well, I’m really proud of the Top Gear US and their struggle of earning their viewers.

@Chester moore nah, you’re mistaken dud. The one that used the Marauder was Richard Hammond of Top Gear UK, and they aired that on the first episode. But Top Gear US will probably do something as amazing.

I can’t wait to see the new episode and car reviews by the famous guys of Top Gear. I heard that they will use a Marauder in one of their episode. I wonder why would they use a military car like that?

I think it would be quite a challenge for them to get viewers interested again in this one. Th4e UK version really did a great start, so they are now pressured to live up to that one.

Well, it’s really a good thing that they are pushing on with season two. I am just hoping that they will be able to pull off something to make this one worthy of a season three.

Hahaha! You really want to get Foust killed, do you? Well, I am also looking forward to more of those crazy stunts for this season, hope they could pull those off.

I think they become very successful for they win over millions of audiences. However, I don’t like to think that it will change since the original is back - the Top Gear UK.

This was the thing that I was thinking before. Top Gear USA really exert too much effort in coming up with an awesome show to attract viewers.
