  Porsche unveiled the 918 Spyder Concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, followed by the 918 RSR Racing Lab at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Both concepts will be used as base versions for the 918 Spyder production and racing vehicles scheduled to arrive in 2013. The production version 918 Spyder was officially confirmed for an end of 2013 launch with the first deliveries beginning in early 2014. Porsche will build only 918 units and will price each unit at $845,000 on the US market. The Porsche 918 Spyder Concept is powered by a 500 HP 3.4 liter V8, along with a pair of electric motors producing 109 horsepower each. But for the production version, this engine will be replaced with an engine featuring a larger displacement of 4.6 liter based on the RS Spyder LMP2 race car. This engine will deliver a total of 550 HP and will be combined with three electric motors that will increase the total output to an impressive 720 HP. .

Porsche develop their models into a more impressive and outstanding one. It looks very elegant and I must say that it’s safe to ride on even if the price cost a little bit fortune.
 The Spyder concept is one of the best. It has its own design, very well groomed for the racer driver’s ahead. Even though they don’t have the top speed, the enthusiast will thirst for its defined speed.
 What can we ask for more of this car? Haha. It has what it takes to be a car of your dream. It has a powerful engine performance (V8 engine, 720 HP), stunning exterior looks and outstanding 2-seater interior room. This is close to perfect.
 When it comes to the design model and engine specs, all thumbs up for me. It looks very elegant and so safe to drive on. I think the sounds of this car is really boost with power.
 Wow! This Spyder will cost $845,000 each of 918 units? That is really an expensive car to own! Haha. Anyway, I really find it too impressive with its exterior design and sophisticated body color. Another thing is its V8 engine that can deliver up to 720 HP. That is so stunning!
 What a stunning model! It reminds me of how Porsche develop their models into a more impressive one. And basically from this model, it captures one attention to the buyers. It looks very elegant and safe to drive on knowing that the price cost is a little bit expensive.
