TopSpeed Rendering: 2013 Lexus LF-A II

1.

A few days ago, some rumors about a second generation Lexus LF-A started to circulate on the internet. It could have been a passing whisper and it would have been all we needed to start dreaming about what this mode would look like. The rendering above is what we came up with.

Let’s face facts, the Lexus LF-A doesn’t exactly need any major changes, so it will pick up where the Lexus LF-A Nurburgring Package left off in terms of style and sport. Lexus will not be making any significant changes to the LFA, but we may see a new headlamps design, larger air intakes, a more discrete rear spoiler, and a slimmer profile.

In terms of power, the current V10 engine will be tricked to deliver more than 562 HP in order to significantly improve the car’s performance. This will mean that it could complete the 0-60 mph sprint in less than 3.7 seconds. Top speed should also exceed the Nurburgring model’s 210 mph.

If the Lexus LFA II makes it to production, it will probably come out sometime in 2013 and will be offered as an expensive, limited edition.

@ Martin_DJo

Think of it this way: The GT-R is the car you take to the prom; the LFA is the car you take to the reunion.

What was the difference between genuine and practical? I mean, doesn’t it sounded too far from each other? I hope I can get better opinions on these two sportscars.

We all knew that Japanese has higher standards in terms of operations and configuration. However, we can able see that other countries also practiced the same. I am not against with other countries but Japanese has mastered the technology.

The production version of this car is quite good. However, its kind of disappointing that its speed is still limited. I hope to see it removed on the rendered version but I think its impossible for they already set a figure performance of the car.

I guess, a lot of dealer is waiting for the rendered version of this car! Admittedly, I was impressed with the performance of the car and it makes me wonder on how it will perform in the track!

Well, since this one is still very much a rendering, we still can’s say how it would actually be able to perform with other cars . But it does look promising.

Well, considering that this one is supposedly the successor of the LF-A, I am not really that surprised that they will be using a lot of elements from the first car. But I would agree that they still need to make this one more unique.

I would agree that you did a pretty job on this one. I like the way that the whole car looks on this one. But we probably need to wait for a few more months for the grand launch.

If this is true, well its not that unique for a Lexus LF-A. It still looks the same as the original one but I think they upgrade the performance which makes it more cool.

i like the LFA because of all of the little engineering tricks slipped into its engine. Just like the revving and how its a v10 with the diaphram of a v8 and as light as a v6
