TopSpeed Rendering: 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C

Alfa Romeo 4C

Now that we have official confirmation that Alfa Romeo is set to return to the U.S. market, it’s time to focus a little bit on the models they are going to offer here. One of the U.S. models will be the much-anticipated 4C sports coupe and today we have our rendering of the 4C for you.

The upcoming 4C will be built on an all-new mid-engine platform, and will use plenty of aluminum and carbon fiber in an attempt to keep the weight below 2,000 pounds. Under the hood, Alfa Romeo will place a 1.7-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will deliver a total of 250 horsepower and mate to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is anticipated to hit 60 mph in less than 5 seconds and feature an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

The model will go on sale in 2014 and prices will start from about $45K.

this car looks awesome and it has good specs. it will be a hit!

when does this car come to the US? i will re-mortgage my house to get it, if necessary.

this is one of the most beautiful cars out there. and it is pretty advanced too: carbon fiber, aluminum. that sounds good!

if this isn’t a beautiful car, then i don’t know which one is.

1.7 liter and 250 HP? that sounds good!

i hope the 4c will be available in the U.S. i will pray for it!

you are right midocar! although not the most reliable cars, the alfa’s have a distinctive design! and a beautiful one too!

it is a good thing alfa is coming to the states. the new giulietta looks awesome. as for the 4c, it is pure beauty on wheels!

cheaper means i could have it! and it is just as beautiful, if not even better than the 8C.

otto, this car will not be better than the 8C. but it will be cheaper!

will this car be better than the 8c?
