Now that we have official confirmation that Alfa Romeo->ke1386 is set to return to the U.S. market, it's time to focus a little bit on the models they are going to offer here. One of the U.S. models will be the much-anticipated 4C sports coupe and today we have our rendering of the 4C for you.

The upcoming 4C will be built on an all-new mid-engine platform, and will use plenty of aluminum and carbon fiber in an attempt to keep the weight below 2,000 pounds. Under the hood, Alfa Romeo will place a 1.7-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will deliver a total of 250 horsepower and mate to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is anticipated to hit 60 mph in less than 5 seconds and feature an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

The model will go on sale in 2014 and prices will start from about $45K.
