  Volkswagen’s plans to roll out three production versions of the BlueSport Concept sparked all sorts of discussions on which vehicles would get treated to the design. As of now it looks as if Porsche will be dishing out the 550 (Baby Boxster?) based on the iconic 550 Spyder launched in 1953, Volkswagen will be serving up the Bluesport production model using the concept’s design, and Audi will be treating us to the R4. The new Audi R4 will only be offered in a roadster version and will take its design inspiration from the E-tron Spyder concept, as well as new design lines that will also be seen in the next generation R8 supercar. It will be powered by a choice of three engines, including the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine featuring a new variable cam and valve lift control system and an output of about 280 HP. The second choice will be a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with an output of about 350 HP and the third will be a twin-turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with an output of about 200bhp and 295lb ft. Audi will be debuting the new R4 sometime in 2014 with sales starting in 2015 at about $40,000-$45,000. .
15 comments: TopSpeed Rendering: 2015 Audi R4 I like how all the lines flow rather cleanly on this. However, of course, the actual car would be the one we would be waiting for, and I am pretty sure that one would be quite awesome.
 R3 really has an impressive outlook design, and I am really fond with it. Well, Convertible car on Audi is truly a very satisfying and awesome, and this vehicle is only one of them.
 If I am only looking for a good-looking car, I would settle for this one, having this car seems that girls would always love to drool around with me. hahahha Moreover, it also the best choice because on its efficient powertrain.
 It is one of those irresistible convertible cars that I saw nowadays! Just like them I feel so excited on the market production of this baby. 2015 is really a long wait for us.
 I love this bluesport concept! I would really love the have a baby like this, it is already looks striking on its color. This convertible car is very satisfying.
 The debut of this Audi R4 is really worth waiting for, the exterior of this convertible R4 is really stunning and awesome.
 They refer to this one as the 2015 R4 right? So if I am right, I am guessing that they would be releasing this by around late 2013 or early 2014. Still a long way off, but certainly worth the wait.
 Well, I would second the motion. It would be really better if we just wait for the actual car to see how it would really fair. But even with just the rendering, this one already does look promising.
 I think that this is still too early to say if this one is going to be a boon or a bane. But we will probably be sure about that when they finally release the car.
