The Toyota Aygo usually doesn’t make it on our radar. It’s a little econobox that isn’t sold in the U.S., and it doesn’t get anywhere fast. So why is it even worth posting? Because the magazine Bonzai got its hands on the little cheepster and more than doubled its 67 hp by supercharging the 1.0-liter engine to 138 hp.
There were plenty of Toyota Motorsport kit pieces added to the car, as well as adjusting the ride height to the lowest legal limit. This little hatch is light, fast, and almost stylish, possibly the first Aygo that deserves a little respect.
