Toyota decide to revised the engine range for the Land Cruiser to be in line with the Euro IV emissions standards.The engines have been re-engineered to produce lower levels of particulate matter, nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide emissions.
The 3.0-litre D-4D diesel and 4.0-litre VVT-i V6 petrol unit are the engines subjected for this revision.After the changes the power-plants have minor variations in performance, with a rised output for the 3.0-litre D-4D up to 173Bhp.
The rised power has small effects for the consumption figures, that are marginally altered, betwen +1 and -0.5mpg.
Toyota’s acoustic windscreen and additional sound absorbing material in the dashboard to improve noise and vibration levels, are now introduce for the diesel Land Cruiser models.Beginig form 1 January Toyota offer this new engines with no changes in price.
