It’s firmly established the Geneva Motor Show is the biggest auto show in the world. Everybody, be it big titans, upstart automakers, or design houses, have a presence in the show, and that includes aftermarket tuning companies, a lot of whom are showing off their latest wares in the show. It’s no different this year as a parade of specialists are in attendance. So before we dive deep into talking about each and every tuning program debuting in Geneva, let’s first take a deep breath and run through all of them, or at least those that we know of at this point in time.

I’m not going to even bother counting all the tuners because there are a lot of them. Geneva staples like Mansory, Brabus, and Hamann are all part of the show. Same thing with companies like AC Schnitzer, ABT Sportsline, G-Power, and a host of others.

Each and every one of them has a new product - or in some cases, products - to showcase to the throngs of attendees of the show and it’s only proper to take one big look at what we’re in store for.

Remember that reviews for these tuning programs will arrive soon, but for now, let’s take a stroll at what we can expect to see from these tuning firms once the 2017 Geneva Motor Show opens its doors, well, tomorrow, Thursday, March 9, 2017.

Let’s get to it then.

Continue after the jump to read the full story.

ABT Sportsline

ABT Sportsline will bring four different programs to the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Not surprisingly, all four kits are for Audi models, including a pretty fascinating one for the Audi R8 V10 Plus. Considering how well-versed ABT Sportsline is in tuning all things Audi, the R8 is going to get a lot of attention, not only because of the significant and admittedly attractive body kit, but more importantly, because this program can turn the R8’s 5.2-liter V-10 engine into a 630-horsepower monster on four wheels.

At the very least, the R8 program serves as a nice complement to ABT Sportsline’s other Geneva offerings, including the Audi SQ7, RS6+ Avant, and the TT RS-R. The kit for the TT RS-R, in particular, is also very promising, highlighted by its own engine modification to the tune of 500 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.

AC Schnitzer

Not one to be left out on all the fun, noted BMW tuner AC Schnitzer is also bringing some impressive programs to Geneva, none more important it seems than the BMW M240i ACLS2. Beyond the unique color scheme of the car and the fact that it’s for the M240i, the bridge model between the 2 Series and the M2, the program also includes engine upgrades of 400 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. That should be enough to get people to notice the M240i more.

At the same time, the German tuner is also preparing a new body kit for the BMW i8 that includes goodies like a new front spoiler, winglets, split hood vent, rear wing, side skirts, and a three-piece diffuser. That’s a nice haul there for a car like the i8, which has proven to be an intriguing project car for today’s top tuners, including AC Schnitzer.

Brabus

Ah yes. The Geneva Motor Show wouldn’t be complete without the involvement of Brabus, right? The tuner attending Geneva is as predictable as Jeremy Clarkson making off-color jokes at other people’s expense, so it clearly comes as no surprise that Brabus will be bringing some of its new wares to the auto show. What is surprising is the variety of the project cars it’s taking with it. There’s a program for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet (an obvious choice), but there’s also one for the Mercedes V-Class, the German automaker’s massive people mover of a van. But before you snicker, you seriously need to take a look at the whole program, specifically what Brabus did to its interior to justify calling it the “Business Lounge.”

Oh, and speaking of variety, Brabus also prepared a program for the smart ForTwo. A convertible sports car, a van, and a compact car. That’s about as varied as it’s going to get, right?

FAB Design

We rarely hear from Fab Design at any other time in the year, but when the Geneva Motor Show rolls along, the tuner can be heard loud and clear. This year, Fab’s bringing five different programs to Geneva, including the so-called Desire 20th Anniversary, an anniversary build based on the Mercedes SLR McLaren. Yep. Over a decade later, the SLR McLaren is still making a lot of noise in Geneva. On top of that, Fab Design also has programs prepared for the Mercedes-AMG GT and most interestingly, for the Tesla Model X. Now that’s a kit that’s worth checking out, not only because it’s one of the first aftermarket kits that will be available for the Tesla crossover, but because there’s general interest in how Fab Design tackled the challenge of building one in the first place.

Gemballa

When you have programs called Avalanche, Mistrale, and Mirage, you better bring some serious noise to go with those names. Fortunately, these kits come by way of Gemballa, considered by many to be one of the best Porsche tuners in the business. And just like its reputation, Gemballa’s offerings for the Geneva Motor Show include these kits for the 911 Turbo, Panamera, and Carrera GT, respectively. The Avalanche kit for the 911 Turbo, in particular, should be on everyone’s must-see list, in large part because the tuner is promising power upgrades to the tune of 820 horsepower from the sports car’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine. Translation: wow.

Kahn Design

Kahn Design’s Aston Martin Vengeance project car has been on our radar for quite some time now, thanks in large part to all the teasers we’ve seen of the car. Truth be told, the Vengeance name burst onto the scene last year when Kahn presented the DB9-based Vengeance in the same auto show. So what’s different about this one? Well, for starters, the top is gone, which tells you that this new Vengeance is a convertible version of the coupe that we saw last year with all the bells and whistles that come with it. So while it is technically a coachbuilder more than it is an actual aftermarket program, it still comes from the brilliant mind of Azfal Kahn.

Lumma Design

The Bentley Bentayga will be well-represented in Geneva by a number of tuners with programs debuting for the SUV. One of these kits is from Lumma Design, a tuner that’s no stranger to attending the world’s biggest auto show. In this instance, Lumma’s new kit for the Bentley SUV is all about a new aerodynamic body kit that injects doses of visual aggression to the luxury SUV. It even has a new set of wheels on offer and the promise of an engine upgrade for a later date.

For now, though, Lumma’s presentation for the Bentayga will revolve around a body kit that includes, among other things, front and rear spoilers, carbon fiber exhaust tips, and a carbon fiber hood.

Mansory

The Geneva Motor Show has always been Mansory’s personal showcase and this year won’t be different. The tuner that’s known for debuting its over-the-top projects in Geneva will have at least six different presentations this year. There’s one for the Maserati Levante (looking forward to that one), Porsche Panamera, Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Dawn, and a host of offerings for a range of Mercedes-AMG.

But the best, or at least the one I’m looking forward to the most is the Ferrari 488 Siracusa Spider, which is the latest in a long line of Ferrari tuning programs that fall under the “Siracusa” name. This one is a real treat though because, on top of all the exterior and interior upgrades it has, it also features an engine upgrade that takes the 488 Spider’s output to a staggering 780 horsepower and 642 pound-feet of torque. That’s not only awesome, but it also sets the bar incredibly high for Mansory’s other presentations.

Startech

The Brabus-owned tuning firm is bringing some heavy aerodynamic fire for the Maserati Levante in Geneva. For now, it appears that the exterior upgrades – and maybe the interior – are the only things that Startech will have to display, but the tuner said that engine programs for the Levante’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine will be released in due time. That at least saves the Levante from being an incomplete work at Geneva even though it technically will be. Still, the promise of future engine upgrades is better than nothing at all.

TechArt

TechArt was one of the first tuners to reveal its lineup for Geneva and to its credit, it’s got some nice packages heading our way for the Porsche Panamera, Porsche 911 Cabriolet, and the two 718-badged models for the Cayman and Boxster. The GTStreet R 911 Cabriolet appears to be the most loaded of the lot with an engine upgrade that brings out 720 horsepower out of the 911 to go with a custom bodywork and two different interior treatments.

Meanwhile, the 718 Cayman S-based TechArt Coupe is also another model to look out for. It doesn’t carry the same power numbers as the GTStreet, but it’s still good enough to bring the car’s output up to 400 horsepower, thanks to the tuner’s TA 082/S1 power kit.

Oh, and in addition to these programs, TechArt also said that it’s bringing with it an engine upgrade program for the Porsche Macan. That’s something to look forward to.

TopCar

Think your Porsche 911 Turbo is already light as a feather as it is? Well, Russian tuner TopCar is bringing a 911 Turbo program to Geneva with the promise of effectively replacing the entire body panel of the sports car into a carbon fiber version, complete with the visceral sight of a 911 Turbo dressed in the material in a visible format. That essentially means that the whole body of the Porsche sports car will feature the unmistakable weave pattern of the lightweight material. Seems like an interesting approach, right? Well, we’re going to find out more about it once TopCar hits the Geneva auto show floor.
