Remember the Vandenbrink 599 GTO we revealed almost three years ago? Well if not then you might want to brush up on your custom coach built Ferrari’s, because in the spirit of Jim Glicknehaus’s P4/5 built by Pininfarina, Michiel van den Brink and Robert Koumans hope that the Vandenbrink Design Ferrari 599 GTO Ecurie GTX, a retro re bodied 599 GTB Fiorano made to look like a classic GTO race car from the 1960s is as much of a success as the reworked Enzo. The initial focus of the build is on the realisation of the special sportscar designs which have been very well received by potential customers, especially the Vandenbrink GTO which was conceived as the ’Ferrari 599 GTO Mugello’ concept study. Actual coachbuilding will be performed in cooperation with well-known Ferrari specialist and coachbuilder Hietbrink in the Netherlands. After a very lengthy and highly anticipated wait Vandenbrink Design has revealed just three images of the Ecurie GTX, and even though we have no details whatsoever to go on, judging by the images you can tell that it will be just as memorable as the original. .

A masterpiece design with a classic touch that’s based on the 1960’s racing car. Well I’m waiting for the car details and expecting a lot on this car.
