Vauxhall VXR8 supercharged version to be released next month

  news

The VXR8 has just been unveiled back in February, and General Motors is already working on a supercharged version that will go on sale in UK starting next month.

The supercharged engine will boost the output of the 6.0 liter V8’s engine from 412 hp in the standard version to an incredible 540 hp. With this power, the new version will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 4.5 seconds.

Brits will have to pay £6995 for the kit, next to the price of a VXR8. There are no info if GM will offer the same option for the US Pontiac G8.
