Welcome to the battle of a couple of the biggest rivals known to man. Nope, we’re not talking about the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics - although we know how that turned out - we’re talking about the Nissan GT-R and the Porsche Turbo. War has been declared between these two since Nissan brought out the GT-R and in order to determine which side would claim ultimate bragging rights, Fifth Gear pinned the two together. It’s a battle between the 530 HP 2012 Nissan GT-R and the 530 HP 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S. With equal power outputs and similar 0-60 mph sprint times - 3.0 seconds and 3.3 seconds - the real winner will come down to handling, weight, and aerodynamics. 11 comments: Video: 2012 Nissan GT-R vs 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S Yeah! This is the race that I’m waiting to see.. Both cars have an impressive performance. However, who ever win in the race doesn’t mean that its the best its still depends on the dealer which really works for them.
 How about a Beetle going against a GT-R? That one would really be quite interesting. But to be fair, it would be a good idea to have the Beetle be tricked out so that they would be evenly matched.
 A race between a Mini and a Fiat 500, well now, that one would be an interesting competition. And to make it a bit more interesting, why not make it a three way and thrown in a first generation Beetle to the mix.
 Well, if I go with your suggestion, I would probably put the smaller cars against each other. It would really be interesting which will win between a Mini and a Fiat 500.
 @Audilicious, based from what you have expect it seem that it didn’t happened for Porsche S Turbo won over the GTR. Though, we all know that GTR has an incredible speed, the Turbo S doesn’t want to be defeated with its high technology system.
 Hey, they have been holding these one on one races quite a lot these past few months. I wonder what models they would be pitting against each other the next time.
 Well if this one is a technical course, I would definitely go with the GT-R. That car is pretty much made for that kind of track, so it would easily handle the corners.
 Now, this one is definitely a rather interesting match. But I would definitely put my money on the Porsche anytime. Not to underestimate the Nissan, but the 911 Turbo S simply performs much better.
 I would say that it was a close fight!Well, i have doubt on the drivers, for we all know that Tiff is a good racer!And although the 911, win over the race still GTR would always be a powerful engine for me.
