Video: 2013 Porsche Cayman Reveals its Interior

The next-generation Porsche Cayma n — the 981 series – will make its world debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Despite Porsche’s secretive nature, the sports coupe has been caught testing somewhere in a district of Stuttgart, Germany, and this time around it was nearly undisguised. The best part of this find is that, for the first time ever, you can get good look at the Cayman’s interior. To no surprise, it is pretty much identical to the one seen in the new Boxster .

The 981 Cayman will come with a choice of two engines: the base Cayman will get a 2.7-liter six-cylinder that delivers a total of 265 horsepower and the S version will receive a 3.4-liter powerplant with 315 ponies.

The final countdown to the L.A. Auto Show has begun, and the veil will be lifted off of the next-gen Cayman in just two days. Stay tuned for all of the juicy details that will start pouring in soon.

the guys paraded the german streets because they had with what ...

I envy those guys who drive the 2 cars. I think they had a great time:-<

any color, besides black, chosen for the interior gives a particular look. and beige denotes elegance

was very wise to choose a light color that gives the feeling of more space

I really like the beige shade. is very, very nice

those few sequences that have been observed are extraordinary

has been caught testing...riiight...

they are all great cars. and at 60.000$, you do have to be quite rich to afford a boxter or a cayman.

clarkson from top gear once said that the boxter (and the cayman also, but that wasn’t available at the time of the statement) is the poor man’s porsche. because every porsche owner wants the full grown 911.

the price difference is the sole reason one would buy a boxter or a cayman.

if the price is brought up, then the boxter and the cayman together cost as much as one 911.

the 918 costs as much as 8 911’s, so the comparison is not quite right, is it?

if the 911 is the daddy, then the 918 is the godfather? because it is the 918 who rules them all!

they are grown up, but the 911 is the daddy porsche!

why do you call them "baby porsche’s"? they look pretty grown up to me and ready to kick some too.

i think these baby porsche’s - the boxter and the cayman - are great.

"nice" was all you could come up with? i think they are very sporty and give a very dynamic look to the whole car!

i love the tail lights of this car. they look very...nice!

i think this new porsche looks great!
