The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro made its debut on live television on Live with Kelly & Michael. The debut happened ahead of the 2013 New York International Auto Show->ke226 and was a surprise to many.

The new Camaro->ke248 looks to have a more aggressively styled front end with its upper grille being a bit shorter than the outgoing model. The headlights also look a bit shorter to give it a more menacing look. On the hood, there is a large vent for extra cooling. The side profile and rear end look basically the same at first glance, but with redesigned tail lights and a slightly different spoiler.

The SS Camaro had no surprises under the hood, as it carries the same 426 horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 and the automatic version will likely remain detuned to 400 horsepower. It also features big Brembo brakes to help drag the muscle car to a halt quickly. The opening in the hood combines with an opening in the bottom of the car to allow air to flow freely through the engine compartment, keeping those ponies nice and cool.

The video also features the Jaguar F-Type->ke1224, VW Golf GTI and the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stringray convertible. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible was at the Geneva Motor Show and will make its North American Debut at the New York International Auto Show.

These all look like great cars, so this year’s New York International Auto Show->ke226 is bound to be a great one.
