If you think Ferrari->ke252s are exclusive, think again because just down the road is a small company run by a man called Horacio Pagani. The Pagani Zonda->ke942 was his first creation and nowadays, technicians in his factory hand-build the Pagani Huayra.

With the limted-run production of the Zonda having ended, Horacio took up the new Huayra project last year, but unsurprisingly there are some wealthy enthusiasts of the old Zonda. These enthusiasts prefer the naturally aspirated AMG->ke8-sourced 7.3-liter V-12 over the twin-turbocharged engine of the Huayra.

Over the years, the Zonda has evolved into its ultimate expression, the Zonda R. Built for fun, the Zonda R was just an exercise to see how fast the supercar can actually be. The car was not road legal, so it was never offered for sale. Pagani did, however, make road-going special editions of the Zonda R.

Recently, Pagani came out with the Zonda Revolucion and it said that this will be the last of the special editions. As it happens, it isn't the last Zonda, as unique Zonda Revolucion was spotted at the factory by Marchettino. What's so unique about it? Well, the carbon-fiber body on this car has a blue tinge to it, but you can still see the weave in the carbon fiber under the glossy lacquer coating.

In the above video, you can see that the car is still being assembled at the factory. As is the case with most hypercars, it is still a mystery as to who owns this beauty, but whoever it is, he or she is one of the luckiest souls on the face of this planet.

Let's hope the Pagani Zonda Revolucion is the last of the Zondas or "Edizione finale". It is a car with a twin-personality. It has 800 horsepower and an extra-large spoiler for some much-needed downforce.

Inside the cabin is nothing short of a work or art. It is designed with monumental levels of attention to detail and yet, it can lap the Nurburgring in just over 7:24.

The Zonda Revolucion is a cross between the standard Zonda and the track-only Zonda R -- that's where the large rear wing, the front spoiler and cooling ducts on the rear wheel arches come from. All of that bodywork is the result of the meticulous labor of Paganis finest carbon-fiber craftsmen. Everything you see and feel is real, including the aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, leather, magnesium and more; it is breathtaking, this Zonda.

The engine is made by AMG and in its upgraded garb puts out 800 horsepower from 7.3 liters of displacement. A six-speed sequential gearbox delivers all the power to the rear wheels. Brakes of course are carbon-ceramic pieces for lowered unsprung weight and superior stopping power. Only 5 examples of this highly exclusive Zonda will ever exist and each costs $2.8 million!
