Re-designed and given a classier and more luxurious look, the new 6-Series Coupe Concept being billed as the car BMW is banking on to go to battle in a market segment that features a boatload of competitors. The concept version of the 6-Series Coupe will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show->ke227 while the production version is scheduled to be rolled out just in time for the Geneva Auto Show->ke228 at the early part of 2011.

While we wait for Paris, BMW was kind enough to give us a look at how the 6-Series Coupe Concept’s design language came to be under the direction of Adrian Van Hooydonk, the car’s chief designer. It’s less than a minute long and if you’re curious to watch how the design behind the new 6-Series Coupe began, it’s certainly worth a watch.
