The guys over ThatRacingChannel wanted to see if two European supercar->ke177 -- the McLaren MP4-12C -- can take on some of the most modern muscle->ke507 America has to offer in the 2014 SRT Viper. Why on earth you would want to put two cars that aren't exactly competitors in a head-to-head competition? Well, the answer is simple: because it's a whole hell of a lot of fun! And if you have the cars at your disposal, why not?

The SRT Viper is powered by a 8.4-liter, V-10 engine that delivers 640 horsepower at 6,150 rpm and 600 pound-feet of torque at 4,950 rpm. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.3 seconds and up to a top speed of 206 mph. On the other hand, the MP4-12C is powered by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 with an output of 616 horsepower that allows it to sprint to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and up to 207 mph.
