One-77 is pretty much a shoe-in for the 2009 car of the year. With its 6.0 Liter V12, the same power plant as the DBS, DB9 and new V12 Vantage. With a peak output of 700 HP and a projected curb weight of 3,300 pounds, the One-77 should be blisteringly quick, the now Prodrive owned manufacturer predicts a 0 to 60 MPH time of around 3.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 200 MPH.

The One-77 will indeed be true super car from the English coach builders, but until it does go on sale we will just have to settle for ogling it in moving pictures. Our friends at the U.K. based, Autocar, had a chance to speak with Aston Martin’s CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez about the upcoming One-77. Enjoy!
