The indomitable power of the human spirit can accomplish great things. The key is to know that despite your limitations, there is nobody stopping from you achieving your dream.

Take Roger Keeney for example. 20 years ago, this man lost his ability to see his surroundings, but despite going blind, Keeney has never let his disability get the best of him. It only seemed fitting that Ford – as part of their ‘Mustang P.O.V.’ campaign – gives Keeney the opportunity to do something he hasn’t done for 20 years: drive a car. By the way, it’s not just any car that Ford let Keeney drive. It was a 2010 Ford Mustang convertible.

With four-time world Trans-Am champion Tommy Kendall by his side, Keeney let the Mustang rip along the vast expanse of the desert, even taking the time to do a few drifts here and there. It’s a remarkable story for someone who hasn’t seen the light of day for two decades. But then again, Roger Keeney is blind, but his spirit and will to live is as strong as ever.
