With the announcement of Infiniti’s new performance line and the debut of their 2 M-based models coming up at the Pebble Beach Concours, it probably wasn’t a bad idea for BMW to release a video about their Performance line. There’s always room for a little refresher when competition is brewing. BMW’s Performance line is available for models like the 1-Series, the 3-Series, the X5, and the X6. It includes hand-crafted carbon components, a lightweight sports silencer, front bumper, side-sills, and an insert for the rear bumper; all in a special design and body color. The Performance line also includes a rear spoiler, rear fins in matte black, and a front grid finished in high-gloss black paint. Finishing off the line are a set of 21" light-alloy wheels. For models like the BMW M3, the Performance Package includes a lowered suspension that brings the chassis 10 mm closer to the asphalt and stiffens things up with a newly developed set of electronically adjustable dampers as well as an all new set of lightweight mesh alloys measuring 19 inches in diameter. These alloys help dress up the new M3’s appearance along with the functional aero package. Want to see more on BMW’s Performance line? Check out the video for yourself! .

sioc_tong (391) Posted on 06.17.2011 Hmm. Will they use this technology with their newer model like the M series? I think this would be perfect with the awesome look of the package installed on this car.
GeekCars (267) Posted on 06.3.2011 Yes, though there is no enhancement in the performance of the car. I think little upgrade wouldn’t hurt you eyes.. right? BTW, those wheels looks perfectly on BMW cars.
SpeedyCars (199) Posted on 06.3.2011 Well, I’m not really into the look of the car. I prefer a more powerful engine that can blast in the road. However, I believe that a powerful tyres can give you a smooth drive.
caden_Bruke (295) Posted on 06.1.2011 Just like any other videos I’ve seen, this one has a unique quality and performance rate, I would give this one a whooping high marks.
martybrown (129) Posted on 11.2.2010 instead of fixing obvious fail points in the design, they just assume it will go bad and include it on the scheduled maintenance
nestorhunter (119) Posted on 08.16.2010 cool isn’t it? you don’t have to replace it’s shocks and spring with an aftermarket ones.. but if you really want a sporty and reliable lowering kits.. replacing the stock suspension is still needed.
kim_tatel (276) Posted on 08.15.2010 The cars are just superb, I mean all of them. Why not?, it’s BMW.
