Video: BMW X1 in action

After teasing the world with their “official spy shots”, the German automaker, BMW has just released an official video of the familiar camouflaged X1 compact crossover that was seen having some fun in the mud in Majorca.

When the vehicle finally goes on sale, it will be available with four-wheel drive followed shortly after by a rear-wheel drive model. The base power plant is expected to be a 2.0 Liter four cylinder making 177 HP. BMW will also make diesel powered versions available as well. When the X1 does hit showrooms, it will be competing directly against vehicles like the Mercedes Benz GLK.
